The Great Gorgeous North
Sorry for the lack of posts. I'm up in my homeland (Canada) dealing with some serious work visa issues and figuring out some wedding details. Other than enjoying some fantastic family time and home cooking (and a full pantry... Truly a novel concept!), I've been enjoying the local style up here. I am always amazed by how many beautiful people live in my hometown, and not in the plastic - large - boobed - plumped - lipped - LV - carrying - designer - jean - wearing kind of way. It's more an individual style thing, with brands that I can't identify at the drop of a hat and a totally personal outlook on clothing and the world. I'll try to gather some pictures. I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out what made the one girl on the ferry (yes, I live on an island) look so fantastic. She had this gorgeous blond hair piled high on her head, stylie little black framed glasses, a long green rouched button up shirt with a brown woven belt tied around it and the perfect skinny jeans with a pair of adorable little sandals. It was the perfect outfit, and not one part of it screamed "I spent a lot of money on this". Something to consider when in most of the US good style is synonymous with high cost.
